Padme’s life has been a profound journey of transformation. Raised as a global nomad, she grew up immersed in diverse cultures, attending international schools around the world. Her deep commitment to service led her to humanitarian work with the Peace Corps and the State Department, where she dedicated herself to fostering connection and understanding across borders for two decades.
A pivotal moment in her path came during a transformative experience at the Sivananda Ashram in the Bahamas. This awakening ignited a calling within, leading her to the Himalayas where she immersed herself in more intensive training in meditation, mantra, and yoga. There, she deepened her spiritual remembrance and passion for sharing these ancient healing practices with others, and received her spiritual name “in the lotus”. Padme’s journey expanded when she merged in sacred union with kirtan musician Girish. Their bond activated a powerful creative force through the devotional path of the heart, inspiring Padme to further integrate her spiritual practice with her artistic gifts. Together they brought her yantras along with his mantras to various yoga studios and events nationwide.
Padme now offers unique Healing Arts workshops and retreats combining yoga, chanting, and sacred painting. Her work guides others on a journey of self-discovery, creativity, and inner transformation, while creating powerful visual tools for meditation and spiritual awakening. Padme has offered this program at the Sivananda Ashram in the Bahamas, Satchidananda Ashram in Yogaville VA, the Bhakti Yoga Studio in Washington DC, the Shakti House in Miami, and Townsend Atelier in Chattanooga TN. In 2026, she will serve as a guest faculty at the Omega Institute in NY for Camp Bliss: Rejuvenation Retreat for Women.
