the VORTEX series
The VORTEX series emerged during the artist’s Quantum Leap into full-time creative flow as both artist and healer. These portal-like works came through while painting beside the powerful waters of the Pacific Ocean and within the charged landscapes of the high desert vortices.
In the Vortex paintings, one enters the raw, spiraling energy of the universe, the "source" from which all things are drawn and expelled. The same force that brings us inward toward self-discovery, propels us outward into the unknown. Layered with movement, frequency, and elemental intensity, these works reflect the cyclical nature of existence: of creation and destruction, surrender and expansion, grounding and transcendence. These works become both mirror and portal to follow our bliss through the churning. It is the art of being.
